| Abstract/Contents: | Presents the result of a survey conducted on the use of biological products in turf management, including "what and where products are being used, what results are being achieved and whether there are any similarities in environmental conditions or management where good or bad results have been noted." States that "the main [reasons for not using biostimulants] were products were unproven...and also thought to be expensive...[and some] did not feel they needed to use such a product." Also discusses the affect of soil type, age of treated area, drainage, soil pH, and aeration on efficacy of biological products. |
