Abstract/Contents:Announces that "several commonly used insecticides for the control of insects on woody landscape plants and turf were removed from sale. [The] EPA [Envrionmental Protection Agency] is phasing out the use of chlorinated hydrocarbons, organophosphates and carbamates due to safety concerns." Lists several insecticides that have lost their registration. Presents several pesticide products that have been labeled for use on "nursery, greenhouse, Christmas tree, landscape, interiorscape [and] turf."
