Abstract/Contents:Presents an experiment "to determine if seeding rate and cultivar influences transition" using cultivars Caddieshack, Gator II, Goalkeeper, JR-151, JR-265, JR-317, and a blend of Marvelgreen Supreme. Reports that "Goalkeeper performed the best in terms of establishment and early season quality with good transition. Marvelgreen Supreme and Goalkeeper were also good combination performers. The 8-pound rate, particularly with Goalkeeper had the best combination of establishment and transition." Concludes that "this limited evaluation indicates that transition differences could be detected due to cultivar and seed rates."
