Abstract/Contents: | Briefly discusses a study conducted in Texas "to learn whether irrigators on the recharge zone for the Edwards Aquifer could safely use recycled water." Reports that "with proper management the treated wastewater can produce pleasing turf without harm to the aquifer. The researchers saw a slight increase in nitrates in the recharge zone, but levels fell well within drinking water requirements." |
