Abstract/Contents: | Combining cultural practices with a chemical weed control program can improve turf growth, density, and resistance to stress and weed infestation. Important factors include: selection of adapted grasses, mowing practices, irrigation, nitrogen fertilization, and proper identification of weeds for selection of chemical weed control. Includes a table of herbicides that control common broadleaf weeds in cool season turf and photographs of a few weeds. |
