Abstract/Contents: | Recommends that "regularly checking an irrigation system will aid in saving water and therefore money." Explains that checking an irrigation system involves three steps, with the first being to determine the reason for having an irrigation system. Lists and describes "eight reasons for the use of an irrigation system or adding water to the soil." States that "the second step is to recognise [recognize] what is being measured or what needs to be measured to improve knowledge of the irrigation system" and the third step is to continually monitor the system. |
