Abstract/Contents:Presents a study examining potential fenoxaprop postemergence crabgrass control. Details the materials and methods used in the study, stating that "Acclaim Extra and TADS (fenoxaprop) were applied on a 21-day interval beginning on 1 May 2002 when crabgrass was in the 1-2 leaf stage to mimic use on bentgrass fairways. Drive treatments were initiated on 21 June [2002] to mimic use of this product on bentgrass fairways." Reports that "data collected between 19 and 31 July...showed that Acclaim Extra had provided better crabgrass control than TADS 15326. Although not significantly different from TADS 15325 and TADS 14626, only Acclaim Extra had provided commercially acceptable...control."
