Abstract/Contents: | Winter annual grass and broadleaf weeds are a major problem in North Carolina where mild temperatures prevail. Grass weeds include annual bluegrass and ryegrass. Broadleaf weeds include common chickweed, henbit, hopclover, knawel, parsley-piert and spurweed. Herbicides which provide control in dormant warm-season grasses and cool-season grasses, as well as application timing are discussed. |
