Abstract/Contents: | Describes a tall fescue cultivar management study initiated in 1982 that included four turf-type tall fescue cultivars and three forage-types. States that "they were mowed three times weekly at 0.875 in. or 3.0 inches and were fertilized at either 1, 1.0, 3.0, or 5.0 lbs. N/1000 ft2/season." Reports that turfgrasses "maintained at 3.0 inches differed from 0 to 3 lbs N/1000 sq. ft/growing season, but did not differ between 3 and 5 lbs N/1000 sq. ft./growing season." |
