| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to determine potential control methods of dollar spot. States that "a planting of 'Merit' Kentucky bluegrass located at the University of Missouri-Columbia Turfgrasss Research Center, Columbia, MO [Missouri], was used for this experiment." Reports that "although variation can be seen from sampling date to sampling date, a general increase in Sclerotinia activity can bee [be] seen during the summer with a decline in September. However, as fall progressed, Sclerotinia activity again increased. This seasonal trend indicated there is significantly...lower activity between both treatments when compared to the unsprayed check." |
