Abstract/Contents:Discusses the Carolinas Golf Course Superintendents of America (GCSA) Conference and Show, stating that "the show has seen record growth for eight consecutive years." States that the Carolinas GCSA executive director, Chuck Borman, "credits the show's success to several factors, including a 'forward-thinking' board of directors that made the decision...to move to the convention center." Describes events put on during the show, including the golf tournament, Carolinas Night at the Beach, various luncheons, receptions, a cyber cafe, prayer breakfast and a Hole Challenge. Explains that "for many attendees, the show is a more affordable alternative to the Golf Industry Show." Concludes that the November 2006 show "attracted more than 120 attendees from outside the Carolinas, many from Virginia and Florida...It was a bigger and better affair than [before]."
