Abstract/Contents: | A major disease of Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis), Helminthosporium leaf spot has a variety of symptoms. The effects of cultural practices on the disease were studied, particularly fertilization, liming and mowing height. Methods, overall appearance, disease evaluation, and measurements are discussed. Tables include: 1) relationship of fertilizer and mowing height upon sward color and density, 2) percent disease in relation to fertilizer, liming and mowing height. |
