| Abstract/Contents: | Suggests that "instead of spending a fortune for dedicated machines to do each job, [landscape] contractors can attach anything a mower - from an aerator to a snow blower - and get jobs done in a hurry." Discusses mower attachments for each season, including dethatchers and edgers for summer, blowers for autumn, snow blowers for winter, and an aerator and sprayer for spring. Also discusses potential factors to consider when determining if attachments are a viable options, including cost, ease of attachment and dettachment, and frequency of equipment use. Concludes that "most manufacturers agree that contractors who decide to experiment with mower attachment use may notice a significant difference in the amount of productivity - and profit - they can produce." |
