Abstract/Contents:Discusses the Greenbelt Plan, which "was created in an effort to protect over one million acres of environmentally sensitive lands and agricultural properties from development." States that "one objective of the Greenbelt Plan is to provide open space and recreational, tourism and cultural heritage opportunities to support the social needs of the rapidly expanding and increasingly urbanized population." Discusses the potential effects the Greenbelt Plan will have on the construction of new golf courses and on courses looking to expand or renovate their facilities, recommending that "golf courses review the Greenbelt maps to determine the designation(s) of their property."
