Abstract/Contents: | Results from studies on herbicide effect on seashore paspalum (Paspalum vaginatum) indicate that MSMA and MSMA containing Quadmec are not safe to use. 2,4-D amine applied at 1 lb ai/A produced slight yellowing injury. Dicamba at 0.25 lb ai/A was safe to the turf. Triclopyr gave some turf injury after one month. The mixture of 2,4-D, MCPP and dicamba (Trexsan) produced injury at the high rates used. |
