Is there any danger of Bordeaux encouraging the growth of weeds?" |

| Answer/Response: | "It is true that Bordeaux mixture contains lime, and it should therefore not be used in such quantities that the lime can exert any particular effect. As a matter of fact, all that is required in the treatment for brown-patch is the lightest possible spraying or dusting when Bordeaux mixture is used." |
