Question: | "Would creeping bent stolons sowed here in early November live through the winter and make growth early in the spring, or would you advise waiting until spring to plant?" |
Source of Question: | Ontario |
Answer/Response: | "We consider the first of November too late to plant stolons in Ontario. Plantings at Washington, D. C., made at that time have, however, been known to live through the winter. Bent will stand rather hard winters provided the soil is well drained." |
