Abstract/Contents: | Brief review of current studies by Missouri and Maryland researchers on the use of plant growth regulators to help zoysiagrass establishment. Zoysiagrass coverage in perennial ryegrass or Kentucky bluegrass was treated with mefluidide (57%), amidochlor (63%), or ethephon (47%). Other studies include response of Meyer zoysiagrass to different irrigation rates, and thatch control through the inclusion of slow-release nitrogen sources with soil topdressing. |
