| Abstract/Contents: | Briefly discusses two possible options for disposing of grass clippings, composting or selling them to biogas powerplants. Also briefly describes a system of subsurface irrigation, stating that through such a system "können bis zu 70% Wasser eingespart werden, da im Gegensatz zur Oberflächgenberegnung im Sommer keine Verdunstung des Wassers stadtfindet [water use can be decreased by up to 70%, since in contrast to surface irrigation no evaporation occurs]." Also notes that the system is able to remove excess water in cases of flooding. |
