Abstract/Contents: | Editorial letter briefly considers the many factors involved with spring green-up problems of warm season turfgrasses, especially centipedegrass. Factors include: a mild winter, early spring temperature fluctuations, moisture shortages, low soil temperatures, nitrogen fertilization, mowing heights, and herbicide, insect, or disease injury which can complicate the condition. |
