States that "the positive side of golf is rarely, if ever, covered in any press with a circulation greater than the village in which the golf course is situated." Suggests that "one of the most effective methods of grabbing public attention is to highlight conservation management and wildlife value of golf courses." Concludes that "on-course ecological signage and conservation management booklets offer the perfect opportunity for such clubs to further highlight the good work being carried out at the club and by the industry as a whole." |
