Abstract/Contents:Discusses the "management of grass paths on historic sites." Presents research conducted to test "surface loose top dressing materials"; "surface, plastic grid protection systems"; "sub-surface installed soil stabilisation [stablization]/turf protection systems"; and fertilizer. States that "the materials which appeared to be most effective in maintaining grass cover are being tested. These are being installed in plots within well-used paths on the English Heritage sites and the numbers of visitors using the paths are being monitored."
