Abstract/Contents: | Thatch can create insect problems and inhibits insect control to below the level desired in problem thatch areas. Thatch often acts as a sponge and absorbs much of the insecticide appied for an insect problem. Irrigation is important to water-in the insecticides. Methods of decreasing thatch build-up are discussed. |
