Abstract/Contents: | Discusses sports field construction, listing several potential misunderstandings. Also discusses sports field irrigation. Suggests the "use of slow release fertilizers containing also a micronutrient package." Recommends that sports field managers "do not become involved in expensive and complicated drainge systems" and that they "do not crown the surface for sand playfields. Crown the fine-textured subsurface to direct water to side line 'only' eight-inch diameter drain piple [pipe]." |
