| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to "assess the ability of 3336, Daconil, Banner MAXX, Headway, and an experimental fungicide to reduce dollar spot when applied preventatively." Details the materials and methods use in the study, stating that "all treatments were applied with a CO2 [carbon dioxide] pressurized (35 psi [pounds per square inch]) sprayer equipped with a flat-flan nozzle, and calibrated to deliver 2.5 [gallons] water per 1000 ft2 [square feet]." Reports that "only plots treated with the 3.2 oz [ounce] rate of Daconil Ultrex on a 14-day interval exhibited acceptable quality ratings on all rating dates...Other treatments provided varying levels of quality and were generally correlated with dollar spot severity." |
