| Abstract/Contents: | "The purpose of the study was to evaluate the efficacy of various fungicides for controlling yellow tuft (Sclerophthora macrospore). Yellow tuft developed naturally within the study site and disease severity was high when treatments were initiated on 7 September. Treatments were applied once or twice on a 2- week interval. Only Subdue MAXX (2 applications at 1.0 oz) resulted in a significant reduction percent yellow tuft and disease severity. Regardless of interval or rate, no suppression of yellow tuft was observed when Medallion, Insignia, or Heritage were applied alone." |
