Abstract/Contents: | Drainage problems lead to a major revitalization project to save the Aurora Hills Golf Course. Heavy soil and shallow bedrock caused a high water table which accounted for the wet areas and loss of trees. It was determined that salt was coming primarily from the bedrock shale which was once an inland sea. Lack of proper drainage compounded the problem by adding an accumulation of salt. Briefly describes the construction of the new drainage system. |
