Abstract/Contents:Discusses the impact of heat on turfgrass management, stating that "on any given day, the temperatures rise until about 3 pm, and then decrease until about 6 am the following day. At about 11 am each day, the average temperature of the soil (at a depth of 1 inch) is achieved." Suggests that a demonstration will present "studies aimed at developing a 'best management practice' for installing sod."
