Abstract/Contents:"Laboratory studies conducted on the effect of wetting agents on infiltration rates indicated that (1) a wetting agent can increase infiltration rates into hydrophobic soils but have either no effect or adverse effects on soils which are not particularly hydrophobic; (2) the wetting agents used in the study produced a beneficial residual effect; and (3) the wetting agent is not completely leached from thatch."
