| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted at the Iowa State University turfgrass research stations near Gilbert, Iowa, to "evaluate various nitrogen fertilizers with regard to Turf Burn/Injury, Turf Green Up, Turf Density, and Turf Color Duration on greens height creeping bentgrass." Details the materials and methods used in the study. Reports that "the L-0530 and the L-0531 appeared to have advantages over the other materials tested for color and density. They did slightly injure turf at 3 WAT [weeks after trial], but the injury was not unsatisfactory at any time during the study." |
