Abstract/Contents:Presents 2006 data from a corn gluten meal crabgrass control study, established in 1991. States that "Corn Gluten Meal (CGM) has been screend for efficacy as a natural herbicide and fertilizer for turf on the same plot [at the Iowa State University Research Station] since 1991." Details the materials and methods used in the study, explaining that "the experimental plots are 5 x 5 ft [feet] and there are five treatments with three replications. The experimental design is a randomized complete block." Lists the variables monitored as turf quality, weed populations, crabgrass infestations, dandelion populations, and clover populations and how each was measured.
