Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the use of recycled water on turfgrass, stating that "Texas Agricultural Experiment Station research shows few adverse effects when recycled water is used on turfgrass. The results suggest that a university or other large facility could reap significant water (and money) savings by diverting partially-treated wastewater, reclaimed water or effluent water." Concludes that recycled water can produce aesthetically pleasing turf "when used with other appropriate management practices, such as proper mowing and nitrogen fertilization." |
