| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the question of whether or not the lower quality of water used in wastewater irrigation results in lower turfgrass and soil quality. Discusses studies conducted at the University of Arizona to investigate the effects of wastewater irrigation on turfgrass and reports that "little, if any, differences have been found to exist in soil and plant samples collected from the study sites as a result of the irrigation water source" and "despote differences in soil sodium, turfgrass quality is better when irrigated with wastewater than with potable water." |
