Abstract/Contents:Suggests that "many [greenkeepers] that possess good greens and fairways have very little knowledge of the fine grasses and their requirements so necessary to maintain a course in perfect condition." Discusses the role of the greenkeeper, mentioning that "he must also have a wide knowledge of feeding grasses." Also discusses the use of fertilizer as a potential method to eliminate weeds.
