| Abstract/Contents: | "Measurements were made of the hardness and traction properties of four soccer pitches in Saudi Arabia. Traction values were similar to those for pitches in Northern Europe but the more intense drying conditions resulted in a generally harder surface. The relevance of these findings for the production of standards for playing quality at an international level is discussed." |
