Abstract/Contents:"A new mosaic disease of St. Augustine grass (Stenotaphrum secundatum) characterized by a chlorotic mottling was first observed in the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas in 1966. The casual agent is a mechanically transmissible virus different from wither sugarcane mosaic virus or maize dwarf mosaic virus, which have previously been reported on this host."
