| Abstract/Contents: | Fungicide treatments were evaluated on an experimental green at Purdue University. The turf received conventional golf course green care and was maintained at 0.2 in height. Treatments were applied to 3.3 ft x 3.3 ft plots arranged in a randomized complete block design with three replications. Treatments were applied with a hand held carbon dioxide pressurized sprayer with a 9504E Tee Jet nozzle at a rate of 4 gal/1000 sq ft. All treatments were first applied on 13 Jun. Treatments with a 21 day spray schedule received a single application. Treatments with a 10 day spray schedule received two additional applications on 24 Jun. The percent of each plot area diseased was recorded on 17, 23 Jun, 23 Jul and 6 Aug. A table showing the results of the experiment, relating the percentage of plot area diseased to the treatments and rates is included. |
