| Abstract/Contents: | "Fungicides were evaluated at the Penn State University Runoff Plots, University Park, PA, on 'Koket' Chewings fescue maintained under home lawn management conditions. Individual plots, 23 ft x 3 ft, were arranged in a randomized complete block design with 3 replications. Fungicides were applied with a CO2-powered boom sprayer, using T-jet 8004, and Jun 4, 16, and 30. Red thread was visually evaluated on Jun 15 and 29, and Jul 13. Leaf spot was evaluated on Jul 31. All data obtained were subjected to analysis of variance and Waller-Duncan K-ratio t test. Red thread data from Jun 29 and leaf spot data from Jul 31 are presented. All rates tested of RH 3486 provided excellent suppression of both diseases." |
