Abstract/Contents:Discusses the profession of golf course greenkeeper. States that "greenkeeping will never be an exact science in that it will be possible to predict and prescribe definitely for all eventualities. No set of experiments will answer all aspects of any one problem. There will always be a definite role for the greenkeeper." Also discusses potential problems in golf course management, suggesting that "changing officials causes hardship."
