Abstract/Contents: | Reviews the cost and attributes of quickly available and slowly available nitrogen sources available to the turf manager. Examples of quickly available nitrogen sources are Urea, ammoniated phosphates, sulfate of ammonia, ammonium nitrate, and potassium nitrate. The slowly available sources are natural organics (derived from plant or animal produced sources) and synthetic controlled release sources, such as Ureaforms (Methylol urea, Methylene ureas, UF-38), IBDU, and coated materials. |
