Abstract/Contents: | In recent years Kentucky bluegrass sod production time has been reduced from 18-24 months to 8-12 months. Three separate studies were established between October 1977 and August 1981 to evaluate sod strength of several Kentucky bluegrass varieties and mixtures. The top 25% percentile in each test are listed in tables for sod shear strength and turfgrass quality. |
