Abstract/Contents: | Proper plant growth requires many elements obtained from the soil through the root system. Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium are used in the largest quantities. Calcium, Magnesium, Sulfur, Iron, Manganese, Zinc, Copper, Molybdenum, Boron, and Chlorine are also pulled from the soil, while Carbon, Hydrogen and oxygen are obtained from the atmosphere and water. |
