| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to "evaluate the relative efficacy and turf safety confidential fungicides against dollar spot compared to commonly used and commercially available products." Explains that "dollar spot severity was assessed weekly throughout the study. Initial dollar spot severity was rated by counting the number of S. homoeocarpa infection centers per 18 sq ft [square feet] plot." Reports that "although each treatment was applied only once, dollar spot was suppressed for nearly the entire study duration. It is likely that the application of all fungicides following inoculation, but prior to the development of symptoms, suppressed inoculum levels within the treated plots." |
