| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to "assess the ability of Cutless + Primo tank-mixes and a pre-mix combination of the two active ingredients (SP5075) to suppress turf growth in a mixed fairway stand of creeping bentgrass and annual bluegrass. An additional objective was to asses any positive or negative effects on turf quality." Reports on color index ratings and turfgrass injury and quality, stating that "the highest rate of SP5075 (22 fl oz [fluid ounces]) generally resulted in the greatest injury to annual bluegrass." Concludes that "results of this study suggest that Cutless + Primo and SP5075 can reduce clipping production in mixed stands of annual bluegrass and creeping bentgrass." |
