| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to determine the safety of Velocity on tall fescue when applied at varying rates and application intervals." Explains that "Velocity was applied two or three times every 2 weeks at 30 g [grams] ai [active ingredient] per acre or four times on one or two-week intervals at a rate of 10 g ai per acre." Reports that "results of this study indicate that Velocity is safe to apply to a tall fescue lawn during the summer months when applied at rates between 10 and 30 g ai per acre." Mentions that "this study was conducted during a relatively dry year. The severity of brown patch following Velocity treatments in years where adequate moisture is present or in situations where supplemental irrigation is applied remains unknown." |
