| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to "determine the efficacy of the compound against the first generation of ABW [annual bluegrass weevil]...Treatment plots were 6 ft [feet] by 6 ft, replicated five times, and arranged in a CRB [complete randomized block]." Lists treatments used in the study, including Allectus GC SC, Merit 2F, Talstar One, and Arena 50WDG. Reports that "all treatments except the May application of Merit 2F reduced larval populations significantly compared to untreated check plots...Arena 50WDG, reduced populations significantly, but the Apr [April] application failed to provide an agronomically acceptable level of control (70 to 90%)." |
