| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to compare effectiveness of Allectus SC and Merit 2F in preventing and treating European chafer (EC). Details methods and materials used in the study, stating that "this trial was conducted on a golf course rough...The mowing ht [height] of the grass was 1.5 inches on an as-needed basis...All treatments were applied to 49 ft2 [square foot] plots, replicated four times, in a RCB [randomized complete block] design." Reports that "all chemical treatments had fewer grubs than the untreated checks. Single applications of Allectus 0.81SC performed better in Jul [July] and Aug [August] compared to Jun [June]...No phytotoxicity was observed." |
