| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to compare DPX E2Y45 to Merit and Arena as potential methods of preventing European chafer (EC). Details methods and materials used in the study, stating that "this trial was conducted on a golf course rough...The mowing ht [height] of the grass was 1.5 inches on an as-needed basis...All treatments were applied to 49 ft2 [square foot], replicated four times in a RCB [randomized complete block] design." Reports that "all treatments had significantly lower grub populations than the untreated check. These data show that DPX E2Y45 1.67SC equals the preventive grub control of Merit 75WP and Arena 50WDG at lower rates. No phytotoxicity was observed." |
