| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to evaluate "insecticides...for control of chinch bugs (CB) on a buffalograss research area." Details methods and materials used in the study, stating that "the turf (100% buffalograss) was maintained at a ht [height] of 3.0 inches...Samples were placed in Berlese funnels for 24 h [hours] and surviving CB were collected in ethanol than counted." Reports that "all treatments provided statistically significant reductions in CB no. [number] when compared to the untreated check except for S12685 at 7 DAT [days after treatment]...No phytotoxicity was observed." |
