Abstract/Contents:Presents a study conducted to evaluate insecticides for "control of grasshoppers (GH) on a tall fescue research area." Lists insecticides evaluated in the study, including Provaunt 1.25SC, Talstar F, and Provaunt 0.3WG. Details methods and materials used in the study, stating that "the turf (100% tall fescue) was maintained at a ht [height] of 2.5 inches. Thatch accumulation (finger compressed) in the plot area was 0.5 inch." Reports that "all insecticide formulations provided statistically significant reductions in grasshopper no. [number] at 3 DAT [days after treatment] when compared to the untreated check...No phytotoxicity was observed."
